miraDry – the Perfect Treatment for People with Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a serious medical condition where the patient experiences excessive sweating. Unlike normal sweating, Hyperhidrosis sweating can occur even when there is no cause, even during times of cold weather or when the person is resting. The sweating is so excessive, that it can sometimes disrupt the life of the patient.

Many people with Hyperhidrosis can become vulnerable to serious conditions like dehydration, skin conditions, depression, etc. The miraDry treatment is an excellent, permanent solution to treat Hyperhidrosis. The miraDry Procedure

The treatment starts with an evaluation. Our specialists will study your medical history and evaluate your exact medical and cosmetic needs.

We will then numb your armpits using volumized anesthesia. This anesthetic contains a special saline solution that pushes away the nerve endings in your armpits, from the surface of the skin. This way, the thermal energy will not damage your nerve endings and only the sweat glands are removed.

Once your underarms have been numbed, we will measure each armpit using specially-designed templates to correctly identify the location of your sweat glands. These templates are created taking into account ethnicity-specific physical characteristics. Using them ensures that the most suitable and focused treatment is provided to you.

Next, we will use the cutting-edge miraDry thermal laser to target and destroy the sweat glands in your armpits. The handheld device is placed against your skin and is switched on. The thermal device releases waves of thermal energy into your skin.

The heat produced by the thermal energy dries up and destroys the sweat glands in your armpits. Simultaneously, the device releases cooling waves onto your skin to prevent burns during the procedure.

Post-Treatment Procedure
