Other programs within the app track everything from your daily food and water intake, to sleep and daily activity/exercise and steps to hold you accountable. It helps us be a better coach to keep you accountable and lets us know when we need to give you the extra nudge when you need it and high-five your accomplishments!

What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is an injectable medication that, together with diet and exercise, helps control your blood sugar, appetite, and assists you in achieving weight loss. It is very similar to the hormone GLP-1 that your body produces naturally to lower blood sugar levels after eating.

What is the hormone GLP-1?

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) is a hormone that helps your body regulate blood sugar levels by stimulating the production of insulin. It also slows down the rate that sugar enters your blood, helping you burn more fat and feel more full.

Is Semaglutide a stimulant?

No. Semaglutide works differently from weight loss medications like phentermine.

How does Semaglutide work for weight loss?

Semaglutide slows the rate that your stomach empties, triggers the release of insulin, and inhibits a hormone that normally stimulates your liver into releasing sugar, or glucagon. The effect is a decrease in your appetite, leading to less food intake and more weight loss.
